The contractor walked off the job after we had paid him close to $20,000. Most of the work was not completed. He misrepresented himself. Didn't pull a permit, didn't test for asbesto in the popcorn ceiling. He brought in 4 crews because he didn't know what he was doing. He stole tools and cabinet fronts. We are just beginning to find out the extent of his misrepresentation and fraud. We believe he is involved in a scam.

He didn't pay the contractors at the point of their completion of certain parts of the job, so they were about to quit. He didn't sequester the house from all of the removal of popcorn and texturing. We got sick and believe that asbestos and fiberglass now is in the ducts and in our carpets.

We had to have the sink redone twice, the cabinets redone twice. He promised all new materials and didn't purchase them. We ended up paying more than $2000 for materials alone that he didn't purchase.
