Electric Wheels Rip Off

Purchased two electric bikes for cardiac rehab purposes. One bike came with broken switch, the other was physically damaged and battery did not work. Totally useless. Scott insisted they have no problems with their batteries. We did send one battery back (at our expense) and received another battery that did not work. Scott was very nasty and said he just can't believe it. We even had an electrician look at the batteries and chargers and he deemed them ineffective as well.

We sent batteries back approximately six weeks ago and still have no batteries. I've called Scott and he has hung up on me and stated "it's too cold to ride the bikes anyway." He even got on the phone at one point and pretended to be someone else.

We cannot ride the bikes and at this point are left with shells. All shipping of defective material back to Electric Wheels has been at our expense. We have not even received replacements.

It's obvious this company is fraudulent and unethical. The headquarters supposedly are in Texas. This guy Scott is in Arizona. Funny thing is Scott is also the person who handles withdrawing funds from the account and is the sales person and is the customer service person.

These guys are operating across state lines and are using the banking system for their scam. They scam people who are depending upon these bikes for cardio therapy and actually pretend to know something about the benefits of these bikes as their use pertains to cardio therapy.

These bikes were charged on our account in August and as of today, are useless. At one point Scott even got nasty with me and said to send the bikes back. He quickly changed his tune and now won't even discuss the batteries he owes us.
