Two dud electric bikes... One big bill

Internet & Web

This company sent me an electric bike, which I bought to try to save gas money and help the environment, and the first one did not even work. They sent me a part to change out which took a week or so, before they would give me a replacement, and it still didnt work so they sent a new one. This one worked for about 2 months, and then stopped.

The company told me to check the fuse, the battery and the wires. I did all of this. The bike shop here did not know what was wrong with it. The scooter store here was going to charge me 25.00 just to look at it and even more to fix it.

By the way, the first bike I got, when I first got it I took it to the bike shop to have the brakes done up and all of that that you do with a new bike, and it was 30.00. I never got that back when this defective one went back.

So, the one they sent the second time worked well, I did not ride it too often, and then suddenly it does not turn on. So now I have a 72 pound bike that I can't ride. (If I take the battery off, it is still heavy and only one speed, looks like a cruiser). Anyway, the only solution they offered me was talking on the phone to the mechanic if I take it to them.

The bike is now locked up in the storage outside, useless and collecting spiderwebs. And I am out 600.00, plus the 25 I spent on the original one. And I dont have a bike that works.
