Wilmot Mountain
Stolen Snowboard

Miscellaneous

My son's snowboard was stolen at Wilmot on 12/18 right after he purchased a $43 adult lift ticket. He was given a gift certificate for the $43 and when he told me that I called Wilmot to tell them first that I wanted them to give my son back the $43 as cash, which they said they couldn't do. I spoke with someone who said over the phone that the gift certificate could be used for food, ski shop or a lift ticket. When I tried to use this gift certificate on 12/21 to pay a $20 charge for my son that had misplaced his season pass, I was told the gift certificate was only valid for a lift ticket. I called on 12/22 and spoke with Bobby, who is very rude and shouldn't be allowed to have any dealings with the public, who again stated their policy. I would like my $43 refunded in the manner that it was paid or a gift card that can be used anywhere at Wilmot and not just for a lift ticket.
