Charged restocking fee

I purchased an item from this business and my wife and I asked before we left the store if it could be returned. Cliff's store clerk, a woman, said yes if we didn't install it but never mentioned a restocking fee. I returned the item I had purchased but never opened (purchased on a Sat. And returned Monday morning, 2 days later) and was charged a restocking fee of 15%. My receipt never said anything about a restocking fee. My purchase total was $215.35 so the restocking fee was $32.30 which I think is excessive since I did not know of this charge. We should have known not to buy anything from this business because the staff were very unfriendly to deal with.
