Did not receive part of the orde

Ordered 4 items - only received 3 of them. When I called the company I was told to the check box it was shipped in again - the box was not that large, but was checked thoroughly - I was told I would receive a call back - which I did - at that time, was told in a round about way that I was lying - that the item was sent - I would not have called to report the missing item if I had received it. Very poor customer service from this company. They did not care - they did not apologize for the inconvenience. The item missing was for a birthday present (11/18) - the person only received the 3 items.
