Poor quality of finishing and fixing mistakes after closing

Called repeatedly. Painter had quit before closing of the house. We were told not to present a list at closing to the bank because we knew he was good for it. Still after 2.5 years painting is still unfinished and washing off the trim. Things are beginning to show up done wrong (like hand railings mounted in sheet rock instead of stud and are not stable to hold on to. Coming out of wall); (Drainpipe to washer attached to vent pipe of sump pump)!! Was fixed at no cost to us by plumber. Cauking badly cracked around tub and isnt ever 3 years old. There are other things too but I just want the public to know that if they use him to make sure to get everything in writing and not close on house till done right. Dont care to deal with the builder anymore.
