Psychological Consultants is not a place to care for their patients

I called the doctor's office to see about a refill for my son who was diagnosed by there office as having ADHD. I was informed at that time that my son's file had been closed because of not meeting with a counselor at least once per month which is standard procedure for their office. We were not informed of this and now my son is running low on his medication and basically is being told that he is going to go without medication that their doctor prescribed for him due to lack of communication on their part. This is not the first complaint I have had with that office. I have filed a written complaint in their office as to behaviors of the doctor and that complaint should be on file within their office. It is not healthy to take a child off of medication cold turkey. They are supposed to be wiened off of the medication over a period of time and so therefore I am making notes that in the event something happens to my son due to the negligence of Psychological Consultants that there will be a price to pay for them not taking their patients well being in their best interest.
