Bad medical care

A doctor from the practice likes to play cardiologist and prescribe medications that resulted in my 81 year old Grandfather being admitted to Milford Hopsital via the ER, for Congestive Heart Failure, due to a build up of fluid caused by the doctor writing a prescription that causes fluid retention. My grandfather has a cardiologist that he sees regularly so there is NO reason for this Primary Care Physican to be prescribing heart medication. Once again this doctor prescribed heart medication and I made an appointment with my Grandfather's cardiologist and explained that the PCP likes to think he is a cardiologist and someone needs to put him in his place. The cardiologist took my Grandfather off the medication and explained that he had shared this information with the PCP. I know 5 of my family members have been patients at this practice and have all left due to bad medical care. I too have had a real life threatening experience and will share that in my next complaint. Please beware especially with our eldery loved ones who believe everything the doctor says. My Grandfather came close to death all because a doctor likes to prescribe medication and play in a field he has no speciality in.
