Not returning to Applebees - Honey BBQ riblets

Hit the Applebees in Sierra Vista, AZ, 6/10/10. Hadn't been in an Applebees in a long time. They got too expensive for what they gave. Spinach artichoke dip was fine. Riblets with honey BBQ sauce, not so fine. First taste is too much liquid smoke. Next taste is too much cayenne, McIlhenny's or whatever. Plenty heat no flavor. My wife had some rice with her chicken. Chicken OK. Rice, oh, surprise, too much red pepper (hot) flakes. I'm old enough to still have taste buds that work and this is ridiculous. I've had the hot salsa at the Mercado in San Antonio. HOT, but very tasty. This was just hot.
