Run when Empire knocks on your door! - Vinyl flooring

Empire today is employed with salesmen who are wonderful liars. They don't even know what they are selling to people. Selling crap is what they do best. They just lie to your face and you have to find out the hard way that you have just been screwed. A saleman by the name of Joseph came to our house and brought vinyl samples when I specifically asked for ceramic tile. He gaureneed us that the vinyl floor was the best fit for our budget and needs. We needed it to be installed in the basement, so I asked many times, if there is any flood or water in the basement how will the vinyl flooring survive it. "Don't worry there is a 20 YEAR Warrenty on the flooring", this is what the jerk told us. He was so aggressive to make the sale. He assured us we couldn't go wrong with buying the vinly flooring with the 20 YEAR warrenty. "If anything goes wrong, just make a simple phone call and we will be out to fix it", yet another lie by the jerk. Anyhow, the installers came a few days later to install and they pulled out all the old carpeting just to tell us they can not install the vinyl in the basement. Well HELLO... That's what I asked the Jerk who sold this to us. So they pulled out all the carpeting before they told us they can not complete the work, and just a few minutes before all that happened I had a finished basement and when they left I had a basement that looked like crap. Not to mention they took the full payment and now I am still waiting for my refund. This should be their new moto: Please call Empire Today so your floor will be ruined today and looking like crap tomorrow. Getting the refund has been hell... We are now in week 2. What a HORRIBLE experience. Please stay away from empire today!!!
