Fraudulent charges to my credit card. Authorized $2.97 but was charged $139.95

I went in to a site to check out a job working from home and authorized a $2.97 charge to access the site. Read through all the material and listened to a woman describe the services and decided it wasn't for me.

A couple of days later I noticed a charge of $139.97 on my checking account. I called the company and they canceled the account and led me to believe I would be refunded the money.

I called 5 different times, each time being told I was being refunded the money. Then the last time I called I was told the refund was denied because I authorized the charge.

At no time during the presentation was a charge of $139.97 mentioned and I did not read it on the pages either. Now all they can give me is a fax number to contact the company because it seems there is no address for them.

I am very upset that this is allowed to go on and there seems to be no recourse. There must be a law against this or someway to recover these charges since I never received any emails from them regarding this charge.

Be very aware that they will steal your money if you visit this site. You don't have to use their services to be charged.
