Verizon High Speed Internet
Billing Errors

Miscellaneous

I signed up with Verizon Double Freedom online because the package was affordable: $69.99 a month ($49.00 for the phone and $19.99 for high speed internet). Since then my monthly bill has consistently risen despite the fact that I have not added any service or product. March bill was for $68.43 (which I paid promptly); April was $68.68; May was about the same, but June it went up to $71.68 (still no complaint from me); but July it went up to $98. Called customer service, and was told that we ordered online games, which we didn't. I'm 84 years old, and barely able to use the computer, let alone play online games. Verizon guy named Ronald said we had to pay it but adjusted bill to $81.80 (which I paid under protest). August bill came and it showed a total of $103.13. Called customer service again and wife talked to someone named Sarah who said the bill included late charges and the amount not paid from the original $98 statement. What is a person to do to get satisfaction? I don't mind paying for something I ordered, but forcing us to pay for something we didn't get is robbery. We were told that we either pay the $103 or have our phone and internet service disconnected. I'm on fixed income and my wife works part-time at Walmart, so we are on a very tight budget.

Verizon high speed internet verizon high speed internet services are just ripoff... I had 1mbps line for internet. And that was working fine. Just for promoting fios... Verizon cut down the speed to 20kbps. And that is ridiculous
