Very unhappy with Comcast installation

Hi,

I have two complaints:

1. Regarding the verification of the Comcast account. I called up the customer care to get a connection, i was told i have got the connection and i was asked to meet the Comcast office in Burlington to verify my personal identification (Passport and SSN). I stay in Vergennes. The executive in the office checked my Passport and SSN and gave me the modem. The modem was not working and on Moday they told us to return the modem and take a new one. I went to Bulington to return the Modem. I was shocked to hear that I had no Comcast account. They told the connection is in some other name and it is not mine. I had a hard time expalining her that i was cleared the connection after showing my identity as Passport and SSN.

Finally after half an hour of argument, the new modem was given to me and the account was change to my name. Annoying isn't it!!!

2. Connection

I was told by the customer care that the connection is hot and I can start using it. From Friday i am trying they ask me to reset the modem and try all sort of things but did not work. Then i requested Comcast to send your technical representative to my apartment to check it out. Again it was shocking to know that the connections was not provided to my apartment. It was given to some other connection. I have gone through annoying times and i have called up several times just for the fault of Comcast. I have spend over 5-6 hours over phone to get this connections.

More over my business time has been lost in all this activities.

I am not at all happy the way Comcast has provided the services to me. I request you to suitable compensate for my lost business time.
