Former Employee Warns of Overdraft Fees and Fake Drafts

SunTrust is an absolutely horrible bank. I will not go into much detail about my encounters, but to sum it up, I have had so many issues with this bank, and the most terrible thing is that they never try to apologize, own up to, or fix any of the unfair business practices they use. They prey on unsuspecting customers, and you have to watch your accounts with a magnifying glass because they will steal every cent if you let them. They are greedy thieves, or really, really hard up for business and customers, to be stealing like they do. I was with this bank for several years, and, needless to say, it was with the greatest happiness and enthusiasm that I severed my business relationship with them. All banks generally have the same policies, but the corruption in the way they handle their business is something I have never seen at any other bank. It is crazy. I am so glad that I have established business with another bank.

Also, I would like unsuspecting consumers to know that they will try and try to harass you into opening a checking account with them. Most banks do, but this bank (SunTrust) is on a whole different level with it. The more checking accounts they have with customers, the more money they can steal. They have even posted fake drafts to my account in the past in an effort to collect overdraft fees. Believe everything I tell you, because I used to work for this horrible institution, and the first thing they tell their potential employees in orientation is that they make their money off overdraft fees and not loans.

Consumer beware! Do not bank with this bank. They are absolute thieves, and what is worse is that nothing is being done about it, and they continue to steal money from poor customers. However, I will continue to post complaints on every site to let the public know how horrible they are. Maybe if they lose clients, they will wake up and stop cheating people out of their hard-earned money.
