Refusal to honor guarantee

Approximately 1 year ago I bought Model number US40135bgrw air purifer. Cost approximately $750.00.6 months later it stopped working. After calling the company I was informed the company was sold and they, the new owners, were not honoring any quarantees made by the previous owners, despite having it in writing. I spent $114.99 to have my purifer fixed. Yesterday it again stopped working and I was told they would be happy to fix it again at full cost. At this point this product has been broken more than it has worked and has cost almost $1000.00 What can be done, if anything to get this rectified? Carroll A. Webe
