Refund Check

I signed for this company to sell my timeshare, they did nothing, when the contract was over, I talked with the company and told them i wanted to cancel, they said ok the contract was up that day and I would have my amount $495 returned to me in about 5 days after about 12 days I called back and was told I was to put the request in writing within 10 days of the cancel day. I could not get a refund. I said the lady told me I just had to let here know from me that I did not want to renew. THIS company is a rip off.
