The short version?

1) Susie went onto Virgin website to buy a cell phone. Virgin's website repeatedly gave her an error message asking her to try checking out again.
2) Susie, having received NO confirmation email, customer number or the like, tried over and over to buy the single phone she wanted.
3) Susie's bank called to let her know all her credit was used up on her card because of these 'charges'.
4) 1.5 hours listening to muzak before anyone from virgin even answers the phone.
5) Susie calmly and politely requests Virgin US faxes her bank to confirm these are not real charges.
6) virgin "doesn't like even have a fax machine or nothing".
7) Virgin "customer service representative" HANGS UP ON CUSTOMER.
8) Down and out in NYC with nothing to eat for 3-5 working days because credit is maxed out until Virgin US decides it will 'release the charges'.
