Faithfully go to this store for tobacco products because they are cheaper than in North Carolina so I go out of my way to go this store at leat twice a month. The door is covered in clutter with signs, posts, pictures of thieves, and it is very overwhleming and confusing to try and read every sign on this cluttered door. I bought a carton of cigars by mistake and came back in to ask the clerk if I could give them back and just pay the difference for a carton of cigarettes. He said "You have to ask him (refering to his boss). I don't want to get in trouble." I simply asked the owner or manager of the store the same question about the exchange. He then very loudly and rudely insulted me by saying "Can't you read!!! (poiting at the cluttered door), the sign says no exchange or refund on tobacco products! If this boy would have exchanged them (referring to his employee) I woulda fired him!" I walked out in disgust, hurt feelings, and insult. I am a supervisor for 2 major food companies and would fire any of my employees for speaking to me in that way! My boyfriend then went into the store and asked who spoke so rudely to me and he got loud with my boyfriend, shoved him out of the store and in the proccess, smashed his hand in the door! My boyfriend demanded we call the police and we tried to wait on them but the store manager or owner came out clutching his weapon he wears on his side telling us to wait on the police up the road not on his property because now we were trespassing. His wife and the other employee witnessed this extremely poor costumer service. If he had trained his employee to tell me or simply and kindly say they are no exchanges or refunds on our tobacco products there would be no reason to lodge this complaint and my day would not have been upset, furthermore, I would still shop there now, YOU COULD NOT PAY ME TO SHOP THERE. Pure rudeness & arrogant!!!
