Motherhood Clothing stores / Parenting Magazine Motherhood subscription, ripoff, unknowing of a subscription and being charged

I one day walked into a Motherhood Clothing store to just take a look. I had purchased an item and during the purchase the cashier had stated that I would be receiving a free gift and she requested for my email address as she was processing my transaction of my purchase. I gave it to her since many stores I enjoy going to will put me on their list to notify me of sales but she never offered a subsription to Parenting Magazine all she said is I was receiving a free gift. Now months later I find a 20 dollar charge for the subsription to Parenting Magazine. I am very appalled I totally have a different outlook of Motherhood Clothing Store and will never trust them or shop at any of their stores or anything they are affilitated with again including Parenting Magazine. I am vey dissapointed on how I was treated with the rug swept out from under my feet. Shame on those companies for preying on mother and their unborn babies... SHAME!!! I'm sure in this economy that we are in we can look forward to this one company going down and not have a second thought about it.
Solution: call Parenting Magazine Directly at 800 234 0847, the customer rep stated she would cancel my subscription and as of the 20 dollar fee she said once it is in her system she would put a report in to refund and stop fees. Sad this will be homework for me to see if they will come through. Now my next step is to see if I can cancel the pending transaction.
