Stole $2400 for running unauthorized ad they could not provide contract fo

We had advertised with Senior Connection some time ago, had been about a year earlier. THEN, out of the blue, I received a bill from them for two consecutive large ads in their publication for $2400 each (a total of $4800).

Now, I never spoke with them, never signed anything, just was not interested in running more ads in the publication. SO, after I asked for verification of the contract, I got nothing but a charge to my account. After some persuasion, I was able to have one of the months credited, but a balance of $2400 stood.

Now, this is a publication that promotes morals, Christianity, etc. They may as well be promoting rat poison, because they had no interest in being rational and see that there was no agreement here, just a desperate salesperson trying to make a sale.

Totally unwilling to work things out, I WOULD STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS AS POSSIBLE.
