False advertising

I purchased a sub footlong expecting a $5 deal and was told at check out that "this store is not participating" in the offer. Previously it was, I indicated that if not, in all reality they need to post something.

Personally I think this is wrong that they are not participating. It's only $1.20 but it really is the principal. Compounding the matter, the manager was quite stand off'ish about it. Not a quality manager in my opinion, customer satisfaction is the important goal and he does not care.

Future personal lunches and any business lunch meetings will not be supplied by Subway due to this attitude.

POST THE "NOT PARTICIPATING IN $5 DEAL" if they are too cheap to follow national ad campaigns.
