$23 for a 2 minute domestic collect call

Stranded without a mobile phone or change, I made a two minute collect call from Chicago O'Hare Airport to Austin.

I received charges on my home phone bill for 22.86 (18.47 plus tax). I expected the call to be expensive ($5 maybe?), but these charges are outrageous.

Rates were not posted on the phone, and the collect call is made and accepted without the assistance of a live operator, so there is no way to determine the cost of the call in advance.

I have also just filed a complaint using the contact form on the company website.
