I am writing this so that everyone knows exactly what my natural uncle did to me for five years, from the time I was 5 til I was 10 years old he did everything sexual that he could to me. At 13 I started using drugs to numb the pain. For 20 years I was a drug addict. I am now sober and having the feelings I should of had back then but covered them up with drugs.
He not only did this to me but to his own sister. When I told on him to my grandmother who i was living with at the time she made me confront him and of course he lied. It wasnt until I was 24 that she called me and was crying saying that he just admitted to doing such horrible to not only me but my aunt as well.
I know people say I should just get over it! But its not that easy. For 20 years ive covered my true feelings and now they are coming out full force. Some of you might not understand but I am writing this to validate my feelings and to let anyone who knows him or dates him if you have children BE VERY CAREFUL! HE WAS NEVER brought to justice. Just because he supposedly said he was sorry to my aunt that does not take the pain away the confusion the hurt the shame. I seriously hope he rots in the bottom pits of hell. I will never forgive him for what he took from me, but at least with this post Ive taken some control back from him.
Soon I hope that all the control is mine again. I am in counsiling. And have a great out look on this.
