Stole my CC data and made a fraudulent charge

I noticed a charge for 9.95 from Comm-services Llc on a credit card I hardly use. I did some quick research and found other complaints about them and a DVD scam. I have not received any DVDs in the mail recently and have no idea how they could have gotten my CC account data.

I called my card company (Chase) and they called the vendor. The vendor claimed it was for shipping charges. My card agreed with my position on never having ordered any DVD from this company and credited back the charge. They also added a stop to prevent this vendor from making subsequent charges to the account. Chase claimed if they changed the card number any automated charges may still go through so they thought the 'stop' would be a better protection.

I am concerend about how they got my CC account data. I can't help but think that a proper review of the targets of this scam would produce some element in common to track down the source of the stolen CC data.
