Raised my rates while I was in a 2 year contract

I subscribed to Dish Network services 5 for a 2 year contract. Approximately 6 months later they raised my rates in several areas. When I complained, they said they had the right to raise my rates if their provider rates went up. Now recently, they sent out a notice that they've renamed their packages and they did it again. This time it's a smaller amount but you do the math - # of customers x $1 per month and they make a bundle. How can a company raise rates when a consumer is in a contract that has an Early Termination Fee if canceled prior to the 2 years? It would mean that during the contract span, they could do whatever they want, which is what they're doing. That is illegal in any state!!! I will definitely be reporting them to the FTC and I believe a class action is definitely necessary. Ripping people off is a no no.
