AT&T "KEITH" Purchased a phone from a manager that worked there without warranty, PHONE IS REPORTED LOST/STOLEN/REFURBISH

I was looking to buy an Sony Ericsson c905a cell phone, Im with T-Mobile and these phones are locked to AT&T as a service provider. So I had to buy these locked full retail price at AT&T. I saw an add on craigslist about a BRAND NEW c905a AT&T cell phone with all accessories. The listing said that the this guy "Keith" works for AT&T and "wins" phones all the time through a yearly AT&T "show". So I called him up and he said to meet him at AT&T in Menomonee Fall, WI. I wanted to buy it directly from there. So I drove from the Border Line all the way to the AT&T dealership in the Falls, about 1-2 hour drive. He didnt give me the exact address of AT&T, just told me to wait by Burger King down the street, so I waited a while. Gave him a call, and he said he was so busy that I had to drive up the store to meet him. No problem for me, I actually preferred that, but why didnt he tell me to go to the store in the first place? So anyway, I pull up to the store, he calls me and tell me not to go inside, that it would be easier to do it out here.
