Mechs Scooter Repair
This company took $250 from me, didn't repair the scooter, and then never responded to any phone calls

Devin, the guy who runs Mechs Scooter Repair, came to my house to fix the carb and clean out the gas tank. He charged me $150 for this, but the scooter did not work yet because we were waiting on the battery to become charged. I hooked up the battery myself after driving all around town to find the proper screws, since Devin had lost them on his first visit. Upon hooking up the battery, the scooter still did not work. He came back again and said I would need a new fuel pump. He put in the fuel pump while I was away, charged me $80, which seemed fair, but when I came home, the scooter still did not work.

I've tried calling him, and at first, he sent me messages saying how he was busy and then a week later how he had to go out of the state for a family emergency, and then after that, he just completely stopped responding or answering any calls. The guy is a classic South Florida crook and I would hate to see anyone else fall victim. I plan to report him to the Better Business Bureau as well as take him to court. I am currently working on this. Anyone else who has been victimized, please send me a message. I might even report him to the IRS since I don't think he's paying any taxes for the most part, because he took $250 cash from me and never gave me any receipt. This guy is a LOSER!!!
