Hay Law Center Scammed me out of 2500 dollars and then never heard from them again

I was contacted by this law firm in march or april. For 2500 dollars they said they could get my loan modified. They also informed me that they could put the file together but wouldnt be able to process the paperwork until the entire fee was paid. It took me 4 or 5 months to get them paid and then they disappeared. The only reason I even know their address is because they sent my tax form to me via the mail.
My mortgage company now wont deal with me because I am represented by this attorney that is no longer in contact with me. All corresponse from my loan company is sent to the attorney. I have tried and tried to get the loan company to work with me and now I am at risk of loosing my home.
I dont understand how a company, especially a professional group like attorneys, would outright rip off people that are already in trouble. There needs to be justice served to this firm and the american people should be given back their money.
