I bought a manufactured home from Homes Of America. Upon delivery my home was slammed against the concrete foundation causing damage. Then my home was set up by an incompetent crew which caused the roof to leak, the walls to droop, lights falling out of the ceiling, electrical wires hanging out from under the home, and numerous other code violations. The roof leaked a couple days after home was set up and leaked is an understatement!!! This condition was never taken care of and now the home has warped walls, ruined carpet, ruined tile, warped floors, and worst of all BLACK MOLD!!!

The Home has been inspected by The State Board of manufactured Housing and it has been determined that Homes America was responsible for all the damage including the black mold. As we have no place else to live we have to stay here and Homes America has offered no relief to this point.

We have been living with this for 14 months and a few days before the Black Mold was found by the manufacturer of the home 3 out of the 4 people that occupy the home were diagnosed with respiratory ailments. The attending Physician is not an expert in mold related illness and referred us to the CDC but we have not been able to find out if the illnesses are from mold or not and we need some help. Two of the people that were diagnosed with respiratory ailments were children ages 7 and 13.
