Remanufactured Transmissions
Steve Cole Company promised to pay for rental car and then refused after payment from warranty company

Originally i was told my transmission repair would take 2-3 weeks. I was told by steve cole i could rent a car and they would reimburse me for the expense. My car took 6 weeks to repair and then they refused to reimburse me for the 3 weeks i had rented a car. Steve would not write a check for me on 1-16 when i picked up my car, and said a check would be mailed to me on monday the following week. I have been lied to that a check was being sent and then when i returned on feb 6th to recheck the transmission, i was told the owned would call me and arrange to get me a check. I returned to the shop in person on the 13th to confront them and was given a $350 check and told that the owners would have to authorize the rest and that one of the owners would call me monday. I called again today, 02-18-10 and once again was told the owners have not been in. When asked for a cell number to reach them, steve stated he could not give that information out. The remaining balance of $661.46 has not yet been paid.
