On Feb 15 my husband and I called to get 3 cell phones. When we talked to the rep I made it very clear that we had cricket in the past and the area that we lived in prevented us from using the cell phones in our house and we needed to know that if we purchase these phones that we wanted to beable to use it in our home not outside of it. The rep told us that the other phones we had in the past were 2 band and not a 3 band and inorder for us to use it we had to by a certain phone. After asking tons of questions and because he was a customer service agent who knew what he was talking about, we trusted him and bought 3 phones. It took only 2 days for us to recieve it and when we went to activate the phones we were not able to. After trying at least 4 times on each phone my husband and I decided to call cricket to get some help. We stayed on the phone for an hour to only be told that if we were able to get a signal outside to go outside and use it. SAY WHAT? After letting the rep know that my family will not go outside to use a phone due to the cold weather he placed me back on hold to only return with no answers. I told him I had to go to work that I will call back. So later that night I called back only to get transferred to tech support, to spanish line, back to sales and finally transferred to tech to finally be told that none of the cell phones would work in my area because after looking on the map I was in a dead zone. She then began to tell me that I can take my cell phones to a local cricket store to get my money back and after hanging up I decided to call back to get that info verified. Well thank God I called back because the only way to get my money back was to remail them back to the company. Now I have to pay for shipping the phones back and depending on how many minutes was used will determine how much of my refund I will get back. Needless to say I made sure that I found every piece of plactic and paper that came with the phones because I want my money back. I will never buy a cricket phone again. Not one person in customer service knows what they are talking about and if they can't solve it or be honest with you they will keep transferring you around until you get to someone who does know or at least will be honest with you. The sad part about it is that I paid 25.00 for a Track phone and never had a problem with it no matter if it was used in my home or outside. Buyer beware!!!
