Stop praying on our senior citizens

Miscellaneous

This company made a telemarketing phone call to my Father's house to sell a subscription to magazines. My father said he was not interested, but then they gave him a "pitch line" to lure him into subscribing; they told him that if he subscribed, that they would give him $200.00 in gasoline. My father asked if he could cancel anytime if he chose to, and he was told that he could. Well, the gas money never came and they started bombarding my father with 5 diferent types of magazines and they also started debtbiting his bank card $19.99 a month. He called to stop the subscription but was told that he could not. My parents are only getting Social Security income and can not afford this kind of scheme company taking their money to survive. My dad had to change his bank account to stop the charges. The company has sent his name to a collection agency who is constantly harrazing them on the phone.
These people are preying on the poor and on our senior citizens who can not deffend themselves.
