Outrageous Bill

I am writing this complaint due to the fact that I have lived at my current residence for 6 years. I have NEVER had a bill over $375 - $400. We get billed every 2 months with Allegheny. Last Year in March I was billed $815 and this Year in February my bill is $725. I have asked around on both occassions to the residence in my subdivision and according to them there bills were over doubled as well and only for those 2 billing cycles. We all called and complained to the company and they claim its the heat, then once I told them i have Gas Heat then they come up with other reasons. I think its very unusual that several houses have the same increase in there bills. Nothing has changed in my house in 6 years except Less usage of Electricity, due to the fact we do not use dishwasher, I have had to go to laundry mat the last few months, and we upgraded to more energy efficient appliances. If you could please help us figure out why Allegheny is ripping us customers off, we would appreciate it.
