I went toCoastal Insurance in Tarpon Springs to renew liability insurance for mybusiness and was told by Dave Kinser that Auto Owners would not renew me forbeing late on a payment, and then quoted me through another insurance company arate that was 40-50% higher. I called Auto Owners Insurance Company and wastold that they would renew me. No problems, no issues. When confronted, DaveKinser at Coastal Insurance made personal attacks on me... Although I've nevermet him.

DaveKinser only offered to write the policy I wanted AFTER the underwriter fromAuto Owners (that I spoke to) called him. He offered to write it ONLY AFTER I caught him trying to steal from me.

I believeDave Kinser is a dishonest person that violated his fiduciary duty to thepublic when he tried to swindle me.inthis tough economy, he tried to punish me for falling on hard times. That very day I had the policy re-activatedthrough another agent.
My problem is notthat he wouldn't do business with me. The problem is that tried to give a more expensive policy and lied aboutthe reason. I caught him red handed andcan't help but think of how many others he did this to and got away withit. I intend to warn the public.
