Xcel Solutions lures people under false pretense with promises of competitive pay, but then either cuts it, eliminates it all together, and/or refuses to any wages earned. Jit Goel often goes by the alias Jit Kumar, and when his wife recruites you she does not disclose they are husband and wife - indeed they try and conceal this fact. A week into my job I began to have real doubts - I saw Jit lay into someone so hard that he made the employee cry - over nothing. He confused his company with the CIA and seemed to take endless delight on spying on people's emails - even though his limited command of english - and a none to savvy approach to life often led him to incorrect conclusions - he often flew off the handle incorrectly. Every person I knew while working there had serious doubts about him although they were metered in what they said because they were scared - intimidation was one of his favorite tactics. As I grew to know him more, I began to have real doubts that the apartment that he was keeping consultants at was up to standards - and that they were free to come and go.indeed, the attidude he showed me was that he viewed his H-1 employeess like property - and sub-human to do as he pleased. He often lied about the company's capabilities and displayed bizzare judgement toward accounts - that he was a "slammer" with no real concern for long term relationships. I knew I couldn't stay there - and made preparations to leave - including canceling a lunch I had planned between myself, Jit, and an I.T. Manager because I felt he would be highly innapropriate with the manager. A few days later I wondered if he would even pay me per the contract - and ofcourse the answer was no. He refused to answer my calls, so I sued him - and won - but even though it was a brief time it was so not worth it. I think of the people who stayed months or even years - and I am sure they have a lifetime of pain - that guy sucks the life out of anyone, attacks them emotionally so that they doubt themselves. He has the classic habits of an abusive person and he doesn't seem to have a soul or a conscience. To any employee or former employee I would reccomend to file a complaint with the NJ Wage and Labor Commision. Secondly, hire an attorney if he owes you money. For that matter, all employees and former employees should file a class action against him for abuse. Companies should refuse to deal with him, because he is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
I got my money but I post this as a warning to any future employees - do not cross the border for this person, do not agree to come work for this company, do not be associated with this company.
