Nexxus Solutions, Nexxus Global Ripped us off for $28,000 claiming to be an attorney who would stop forclosures and handle our personal outstanding credit debts

My husband and I had fallen on hard times, and were not able to keep up with two mortgages and financial credit debts that had become overwhelming. A friend introduced us to Jordan Anderson an attorney with a company called Nexxus Private-Solutions Group, who so called handled personal affairs for people who were having trouble with foreclosures and credit debts.
January 29, we signed a contract appointing Nexxus with a limited Power of Attorney as our attorney-in-fact to deal with only the issues to enforce our legal rights which would include any lawsuits to be filed along with other attorneys including Anderson with the understanding that they would handle our affairs by negotiating with the mortgage companies and credit card companies. We were charged $3,000, for the first 6 mos and $2,500 for the next four months.in signing this contract, Nexxus "Will keep you in your properties and pursue the credit card debt to eradicate it from your record. While we we are going through the litigation process, title to the property has to be held in a trust established for both our our benefit. If for any reason, the trust deeds are not vacated, title is returned to you entirely. Our normal arrangement is that when the trust deeds on the properties are set aside by the court and they become free and clear, you would have two options 1) You can elect to have either or both properties sold and the profits are split 30% to you and 70% to us, which provides you with realizable value from the properties which you would not have at present. 2) You can elect to continue to reside in either property and a new trust deed secured note in our favor for 70% of the value of the property at such time, will then encumber the property at a 5% interest rate, and you can make monthly payments to us so that you do not have to obtain new financing for the 70%. The ideal conclusion which we will pursue is to have all your credit card debt set aside by court order, and to render both properties free and clear of the existing trust deed loans.
We were told that Nexxus would be filing a Truth in Lending Act., 15 U.S.C. 1601-1666j, as amended ["TILA"], including, but not limited to the following included provisions: 1. The Home Ownership and Equity Protection Act of 1994 ("HOEPA"); and 2. TILA's implementing Regulation Z, 12 C.F. R 226, as amended.
From February thru October we were under the impression that Nexxus was handling our affairs. Well, lo and behold, on November 12th, there was a knock on our door, there appeared the Sheriff's and put my family and all of our belongs out on the street by eviction. Nexxus never filed anything, for the houses nor the credit companies. We are now trying to find an attorney that would assist us in suing Nexxus. We have filed a complaint with the BBB and will contact the Attorney Generals Office in California. We are not the only ones scammed by this company.
