Engaged in unscrupulous business practices and knowingly ignored poor/unsafe construction and other practices

There is a group of renters and owners (including myself) that have had extremely negative experiences with Sedgwick Properties including:

Plumbing problems (including pipes bursting and flooding units; non-working toilets), Electrical problems, Air Conditioning unit issues, Bug Infestations, and other personal issues. With few exceptions, Sedgwick Properties does not acknowledge, fix, or help in ANY way.

Our particular building was very poorly constructed, and has less than half of the units sold. The building has been very poorly maintained, and many amenities are not what they were described (a "green" rooftop deck is a few plants on top of the parking garage that is not accessible to people, fitness room is a dark, dank, small room with many broken machines). Those of us that purchased have watched unit prices plummet more sharply than the market.

This was a horrible investment, and all correspondences with Sedgwick Properties staff have been unnecessarily rude and not remotely helpful. If you are considering purchasing with this company, talk to others who live there and seriously consider your investment.

If you ALREADY HAVE PURCHASED OR ARE RENTING, you are welcome to join us in a potential future class action suit or other action in attempt to recoup the unnecessary costs due to the neglect of Sedwick Properties.
