Internet Scam

This company advertises on Craigslist housing for sale or lease and gives you a local phone # to call. After calling the local # and speaking with Jonathan Brannon Agt #1068 I decided since I was desperate to find a home that I would try their 3 day trial for $5.95. I also asked when I would have to cancel because I didn't want any more money charged to my credit card. Not a problem, he said just cancel by 1/31.
Guess what they weren't open for me to cancel. So I called 1st thing 2/1 to cancel and the customer service rep said well I should have cancelled on 1/29 after having signed up for 3 days on 1/28. So he cancelled me on 2/1 but didn't tell me that they had already charged my account another $39.99.
Today when I noticed my bank account had been charged by them I called and the customer service rep was a real jerk when he spoke to me and told me tooooo bad your not getting your money back you should have cancelled on 1/29. This is terrible when we as citizens of the United States and are being robbed by these internet people. I am canceling my card at the bank as I don't trust these people at all and I have notified Craigslist as to what they are doing with their ads on Craigslist.
