Invalid Gift Cards, Retracted Gift Cards

A few days before christmas I purchased an iCardGiftCard (which is redeemable, theoretically, at their website for gift cards of many merchants). I saved the gift card so I could print it later. When I logged into my account again, it was gone. There was no record of any transaction (despite the emails I had received from them). An email and call to customer service later, I found out that they had never actually issued me the card. They decided that because I had a typo in my address that I was being fraudulent and that I shouldn't get a card. They said that in such cases, your credit card will not be charged.

So, undeterred (on christmas day!) I made my second attempt, got my address completely right. Everything went through and my card was charged that day. Christmas went well, all is good. Three days later, unannounced the gift card becomes invalid and the credit is returned. These jerks don't know how to accept money. Or I guess they don't know how to keep money. Wtf?
