Gift Card Purchase

I purchased a set of 3 $15 Red Lobster gift cards to give as gifts. After Christmas two of the three cards returned because they were not activated. I then went to target to explain to the situation they turned me around and said there was nothing they can do and that I should call the 800 on the back of the gift card. I did just that but the person I spoke to said there was nothing they can do I have to deal with Target since that's where I made my purchase. Now I was charged full price for these cards and two of them so far don't work, neither parties can do anything and I’m down $30. Target needs to own up to what they’re selling, and if the gifts cards are not working it should be up to them to make it work. That should be their job to satisfy the customer they charged the right service. Lesson learned, will not buy a gift card from Target ever again!
