We were very excited to learn uverse was available in our area and signed up. It was all downhill from there. The installation was to be March 1. The tech came in and advised we could not be hooked up - no signal. He didnt even go outside to check anything. We didnt question him as we should have, instead contacting the AT&T store. After many phone calls and emails on their part (they were very helpful) the 2nd tech came about 3 days later and had absolutely no problems setting us up. He said our signal was perfect. Okay - now we're rolling - Nope. I emailed for my promised and advertised rewards. The $100 was redeemed and est. To be mailed 4/21. I waited about 3 wks later and tried to submit for the $200.000 rebate. Could not find. Went to AT&T store again. They could only put in for another $100 and a $50. OK, we're up to $250.00. They contacted cust service Rob (ID#rh009U) He called us back the next day and advised $250.00 was "best they could do" What happened to the advertised $300.00??? We contacted George Girvin at our AT&T store on 3-30 and he advised he would see what he could do and would call us back. I called again late that afternoon and left him a voice mail. Over 24hrs later I still haven't heard from him. At this point its not about the $50. Even a call back that he hasnt made any progress would have been OK. REBATES ARE A JOKE! The "shrug your shoulders" attituded is disgraceful. The only person that has been very concerned was the gal that signed us up (Shannon Dosso) I feel sorry for her that she has to work for a large corp. Like AT & T that is so adept in giving people the run-a-round. I will not recommend ATT uverse to anyone because of the false advertising
