Dr. Wurster in Celebration, Fl Dr. Wurster and his office staff are the absolute WORST!

This is the most unprofessional office I have ever been a patient of, and I hope you please read and trust this advice because in the end you will be thankful for picking a different doctor.

First off, they never answer their telephones... Period. If you have an emergency you are referred to an urgent care or you can leave a message and when the staff gets around to returning calls you will get a call back. Don't think for a second they will "squeeze" you in though, because they overbook appointments at an understatement. Approximate wait time on a good day for a routine check up is approximately 3 hours. The waiting room is the most dull I have seen yet. No music, TV, and a shortage of chairs and magazines for all of the patients they have overbooked for that day is what you have to look forward too. I have had to stand up against the wall before. On any given day they will start taking appointments at the 8am spot, yet the doctor does not come in till 9am, hence starting the day with a two hour wait. I think this doctor has a quota with his insurance he likes to meet daily because in the four visits I went there was always a room full of very unhappy people. The ladies running office are rarely at the desk and are the most ignorant and unprofessional I truly have seen. The McDonalds drive-thru staff is more efficient then these people that work the desk. Myself or my husband never got a call back that the results from bloodwork and other tests that were administered were in, and instead had to call them after over a month to ask what was going on. The response we received was an apology, and that they were getting around to it. But they couldn't tell us over the phone we had to come in and wait four hours to have the doctor tell us they were "normal!" My husband has still yet to get his results. And they have messed up his prescription not once, but twice... Still not fixed.

We have since joined with a stellar office with a doctor that reminded me what it was like to have someone I trust, who is a true professional, and his office staff are top of the line. What a pleasant change that was much deserved after the nightmare we unfortunately were a part of. Please save yourself the time, money and hassle and pick another primary.
