Tademarc Landscaping Misleading Fliers Taped To Doors—Bate And Switch Advertising!

For the record I would dismissed this as a small business working hard to take care of their families but these guys insisted that they were not misleading anyone and would not back down on how they do business! Here's the experience that I had with them.

They Tape a Red Flier on your front door that is Very compelling for $99 a month or $29 per visit you can have your landscaping taken care of, which is a deal.

Here's the issues to watch out for:
1) The $29 offer is a bi-weekly plan which is very reasonable but the flier does not state it's has to be a bi-weekly service, it just says $29 / visit which means any normal person would think you could call for a visit as needed for $29. Not so, you have to sign a contract that is for bi-weekly service.

2) They say Save Hundreds of Dollars a Year on their flier as one bullet point and then on another bullet point act as if the complete Maintenance Services are included in what they offer as a part of your monthly fees which includes:
Sprinkler & Drip System Repair, Tree Trimming, One Time Clean Ups & Hauling, Plant and Tree Removal, Weed Removal, & Chemical Application, Weekly and Bi-Monthly Services... Once you get their contact is code for bend over while I stick you with an extra fee on all of these EXTRA services. (Very Misleading... The flier should say you can pay extra to have these services done as needed)

3) And each home has a one-time clean up fee that ranges from $100 to $1,000 that the sales guy insisted was disclosed on the flier... They do say they offer ONE TIME CLEAN UP'S, as if to say if you yard is over grown and just need it cleaned once they can help, but what they really mean is EVERY YARD GETS A ONE TIME CLEAN UP... They don't tell you that you get to pay for this on the flier, but when the sales guy comes out to see how much he can pop you for he tells you your fee! When I told him that they were being misleading he said he has to get the yard up to speed before you can go on the $99 or $29 servicing plan... Which makes complete sense if you disclose it up front; but I could tell this was a moneymaker for them. He told me he just came from a house where he charge a homeowner $1,000 to get on the plan and he was only going to charge me $110. Come on&the hoa would be on you like hitler if youre yard needed $1,000 of clean up. I'm guessing it was probably a retired couple or a single mom that got this bend over treatment after they thought they would only have to pay $29.

4) After me calling them on these issues of Misleading Advertising they got very defensive and said the CONTRACT IS THE CONTRACT!

Final comment, I would have went with the service if they had disclosed all of their fees or said please call for a FREE ESTIMATE, but when you act like it's all included on your flier and then get mad at me for calling you out for misleading people I could see this company was going to be trouble they fake you out with their low fees and then work you over when they get to your home.

So beware of their irresistible offer!!!
