Flier Distribution Scam

John Hornyak called me to recruit my company as a client for his flier distribution company. His prices were reasonable and he was extremely persistent. I first expressed that I was not able to meet the initial deadline that he gave me for when I would need to have the flier ready to go and that maybe I would getinvolved the next month. He called me several more time and even lowered the price for me.

After several phone calls and one in person meeting I paid John Hornyak $155 to distribute 2000 fliers for my company. We discussed which developments and when he would deliver my fliers. My husband being the consistent skeptic that he is combed the neighborhoods that my fliers were to be distributed at and never saw one flier. When I attempted to contact John, my calls were never answer or messages returned.

He called his company Your Local Community Collection and appeared to know a lot about the other advertising channels in the area. He was extremely onvincing. Be careful!!
