I have had avery personal horrible experience with one John Walker (who runs theRetire-In-Ecuador and Eco-Ecuador-Living websites along with his wife). It wasnot a bad experience, it was not an unpleasant experience, it was HORRIBLE. I cannot go into specific details right now, but John Walker ripped us (andseveral others) off with the Ayampe land scheme. It amazes me that he is stillmarketing this scam. As Pronto wrote, Gary Scott cautioned people that were atthe IL Conference last year that is was a scam, but unfortunately this crookhad already taken our money and now we have to fight him to get it back. (Hencewhy I cannot get too specific.) There is no way to sugar coat the unethical, unprofessional and criminal behavior of this man. We are now living inEcuador and John Walker has threaten to have a police report put on us to haveour residency denied after we told him we wanted our money back and with allthe people he has ripped off he had better watch his back. So, I speakfrom experience. He is a con artist, a liar, and a scammer. Just a word of caution: DO NOT USE OR TRUST these folks or anything they have to offer. I hope we do not have to read another letter from someone else later sayinghow the Retire-In-Ecuador or the Eco-Ecuador-Living folks ripped them off.
