Salesperson Sold Service Not Provided, Half Refund Offered

I just read the reports posted about Power Windows and Siding. I have to say the replacement windows were pricey, but they are very good and installed well. The customer service is a nightmare. My service was performed on July 13; today is January 29.

The salesperson sold me a service that they do not even provide! Upon installation of said service, the technician got extremely agitated when I told him that I did not want to sign the service paperwork. I was bullied into signing it, but I did note that it was not as the salesperson had described. I was very intimidated. I requested to speak with the salesperson countless times to discuss this issue. Long story short, I tried to work with this company. Every person I spoke to dropped the ball and left me hanging.

Finally, after six months of this nonsense, I got in touch with the one helpful person in the company. He confirmed that they cannot do the job promised and that he would get me a refund. The next day he came back and said that the Director of Installation would only offer me half the money back. This is the error of your salesperson and not mine. The job is useless to me, and they know it. I finally did talk to the salesperson, and he more or less told me that I was lucky that the company is "working with me." How can a company have a consumer pay for the errors of its salespeople?
