Linda Sewell Hired as a Independent Contractor, then hired as a employee and being held liable for another workers actions

Premier Delivery Services is the buisness of trashing the Northwest with distributing Verizon Phone books and taking advantage of people down and out in our economy by taking advantage of low income people desperate for work. They put delivery standard on people to peddle their products door to door, paying 15-20 cents a book. People are hired and required to use their own vehicals, are liable for any damages they may occur {regardless if the Indvidual is at fault for any accusation by a resident who may issue a complaint to Verizon} I was hired as a Independent contractor and peddled their books for a month period of time, I was then offered a employment position, wich would require to live and travel on the road city to city and state to state year round. I was required to deliver 900 books a day 6 days a week, find a delivery helper in each delivery project we worked in. Required to obtain verification signatures, and buisness cards to show proof of delivery, also required to where and operate a GPS device tracking each delivery. I was given medical and dental benifits, a guaranteed wage and my housing was paid for. You would think this sounds like a great job having your housing paid for and all, but let me state " It is a big illuision"! During my employment I have recieved numerous verbal assaults from the acting manager Nancy Scheffert, due to inabilty to obtain contact information for refusals from apartment complexes. Verbal abuse for inability to obtain buisness cards from companys that will not accept phone books or that will even slam doors in your faces. Verbal assaults for improper book placement, thou I had witnessed in numerous cases of residence in our society open their front door and see a phone book and then proceed to throw the book on their own side of their property or even in the street, and in a few occasions thrown directly at me!
I have been informed I am liable to pay for any damages that may occur regardless if I am the indvidual that caused the property destruction, thou I am required to find and hire a temporary labor in each town I work in. So being a employee of a company and not a Independant contractor, how can I be held responsible for another man's actions? The insurance and liability a company is required to have should be taking care of any problems.
I have also found out they have a loop hole in railroading hard working employees once they become a liabilty to their company, they take them from employee status to Independent status to avoid having to pay their unemployment benifits.
In the past 17 years I have not filed for unemployment as I believe in hard work and doing what is right, but if I am fired and just dropped like a piece of trash on a porch like a phone book is on a porch due to being held liable for another persons destruction of property, should there not be some justice?
During my period of time of employment I have had to endure verbal and physical assault from residence in our society, verbal abuse and lies and contradictions from management, having to pay for damages that have occured at no fault of my own, and to think this was supposed to be a good opportunity where my wife and myself left our home and put all our belongings in storage to go to work for this company only to be degraded and taken advantage of, thou we have worked hard and made this company alot of money and helped them grow, it is clear we are easy to dispose of and recycle just like a phone book.
