Asked Hyperspace Arcade to come fix two machines we have in the house. After he rescheduled twice (once because car wouldn't start, second cause he had food poisoning) he came in and did estimates. Then we had to schedule the repair appointment which he had to reschedule because his server was down, and he was sick again. After repairing one machine, he tackled the other. Replaced the monitor but was never able to adjust it because he discovered the board was bad. Which means he couldn't tell which colors worked and didn't. He said he should have checked that first. He said he'd come back with a new board if he could find it. After some time I found a new board and put it in (Just needed him to solder it which he never did), but the monitor needed to be adjusted with the new board to finish the job (kind of like a tune up).

I sent multiple emails and phone calls that he never returned. When I finally contacted the BBB after 7 months he responded with a series of emails making excuses as to why he never contacted us (saying he doesn't respond to phone calls, his server sent our email to spam or he doesn't respond to emails sent on Friday). After all that, I just wanted him to make it right by finishing the job (a fifteen minute process). He said the work we paid him for was completed and that anything else we would have to pay for. All I wanted was the original adjustment to the monitor and his only responses were long excuse-laden emails (no phone calls) regarding a small business, this economy and such. The same rhetoric, by the way, that he spewed while working on the machines in our home (very unprofessional). The total amount was only $280 dollars but the time and hassles were immeasurable. He doesn't believe in customer service and I would be wary of scheduling him for service.
