I was called in the fall and someone from HBC told me about Lifestyle Essentials which was supposed to save me money at various merchants. I never received the package or the $25 HBC gift card which was offered as an incentive. I then received a charge of $17.80 on my HBC account. I called - explained that I had never received the information and wanted to cancel. Steven - the person who answered my call apologized and cancelled. He had offered me some sort of gas refund which required me sending in receipts - I want something simple which will enhance my life - not more paperwork. I told him he could send me the $25 gift card if he was truly sorry. He couldn't do that because I had cancelled. I did get him to reverse the charge on my account. Does HBC really want to be associated with this type of shoddy marketing?
